I enjoy blending type with abstract forms and mixed media textures, driven and informed by my endless fascination with the human condition, linguistics, sub cultures, and religion. Who is FrannyPanny?
My dear friend Fran is currently serving time in prison following the Kill The Bill protests in Bristol in March 2021. She has been a resourceful and busy little turtle, making art through a variety of mediums which she's sent on to me to share with the public, and to raise funds for herself with 50% proceeds going to Macmillan Cancer Support. Her brother and I are currently managing and archiving her art on Instagram until she gets out eventually and takes it over herself.![Letter from Franny Panny reads: Hello lovelies. My name is Fran and I am serving a 3-year prison sentence after attending the Kill The Bill protest [in March 2021], 5 years and 10 month sentence altogether! This is my artwork I am doing inside to raise some money for myself and I’m giving half the money to Macmillan cancer support.
